for context i own these

and these

are either of those different enough from what you already have?
having a darker black might be nice, but I wish the first ones were a touch longer
do you have fit pics with those two on for context?

ive found myself wanting a darker gray* jean but more structured, which i feel that my second (darker gray) pair of jeans isn't giving me (its sort of baggy), and the jeans i'm looking at (b sides) have this very angular barrel-like shape
which i think is interesting
i tend to wear very baggy tops so don't mind.a cropped jean
the two you sent look as structured as the ones you own in the product pics
are you sure those two are more structured?
im hoping this is more structured

do they say the weight of the denim in the product listing?
than this

hmmm so the lighter pair in the original post is " • 100% cotton, 14.25 oz classic wt. 3x1 denim" https://bsidesjeans.com/products/relaxed-lasso-jean-stil-black but the darker pair has no specification
they're both 100% cotton
the darker jeans i own (everlane) is "98% Organic Cotton, 2% Elastane" so maybe that makes it a bit baggier
oh 14.25oz should be rigid
I think I like the second ones you posted if I had to pick between them
but the first ones if you need something thats also a slightly different shade to what you own
ngl i also quite like them, esp. cause the cool angular detail is more visible, but i was worried about dropping a few hundred bucks on a color of jean that i already own
i dont know your financials so you'll have to decide if thats worth it to you
yeah that is fair
$400 for jeans is no joke
yeag...
especially that close to ones you own
so real 🙈
gotta be real
idk if I were you I'd also seek out a new silhouette
like go for a rigid wider or flare
thats a good point
🫡 i'll think on it thank you

they're canvas
GARUDA
Double Knee Pant - Black/Black
Double knee patches, literally. A clean and to the point cut packed with our usual features, 2 phone pockets, gusseted crotch, and our usual cinch waist. + Reinforced knee + Welt phone pocket (right) + Patch phone pocket (left) + Side entry pockets + Back patch pockets + Gusseted crotch + Cinch waist
ohhhh fuck yeahhhhhh
they only have these in stock, the other double knees are from a past season
the ones with the filled in bones
also the sizing on them are HUGE because they're meant to be cinched
ahhh but ultimately i guess i still want a rigid rigid denim
maybe should just get into lemaire :/
You can always hem anything to a crop
or just chop them
chainstich hems are usually pricy
that's fair enough the twisted ones you sent are compelling in that case
yeah, the design is neat. they have some more regular shapes too
and the price isnt terrible
do your thinking. lmk if you want other ideas
ty!!
Are your two initial options the same cut but in different colours? 2 looks wider at a glance but I can’t be sure
you are right, 2 is wider
1 is the "slim lasso" https://bsidesjeans.com/collections/jeans/products/plein-lasso-jean-stil-black and 2 is the "relaxed lasso" https://bsidesjeans.com/products/relaxed-lasso-jean-stil-black?_pos=8&_sid=58d107080&_ss=r
I do think they’ll give you a different silhouette than what you’ve got.
1 plays it a bit safe but looks nice.
To me, the colour and fading of 2 makes the paneling more apparent and makes them almost read “workwear”. Shape is more exaggerated which differentiates then from what you’ve already got.
Site is loading really slow for me but I’d like to see the shape of 2 in the colour of 1.
there is no such shape of 2 in the color of 1 unfortunately
too bad
I like the shape more when the stitching/paneling is more hidden I guess, that’s personal preference though
pinkkea lemaire twist belt denim when
those are also kind of long and i dont want to buy lemaire just to crop it
:blushcatto: short?
look here preschooler
im going to put u in time out
2 is my pick i am not going to read this thread
Carrion is right as usual
Pinkkea you should get into raw selvedge denim it’s really cool and high quality and it has to be handmade and oh you’re not supposed to wash it because if you don’t you’ll get sick fades
What are you talking about it won’t make you smell
walmart bestie. i'm going to shit myself
That’s the best way to get those shit fades
