Black fog border
Server issue (i think)
theres a black ring around the mc chunks, and no lods are generating. in a singlepayer world everything works as expected

i deleted C2ME thinking that was the issue... it was not
can you try redownloading it from #links-n-downloads . not sure if that is the solution though
if that doesnt work, try with just DH, see if it still happens

still works perfectly in singleplayer
ok it got weirder
also everything goes away when i disable DH rendering
i deleted the server DH config file thinking there might be some weird setting thing but nope
another update, it might be only the overworld messing up
overworld and nether, end is fine

- Nether: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIM-1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- End: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIM1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- Custom Dimensions: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIMENSION_FOLDER/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
Multiplayer:
- .minecraft/Distant_Horizons_server_data/SERVER_NAME/that was my next idea... but there was soo much i loaded ;~;
you could make a backup of it
i did, but if this fixes it that means its corrupted somehow and unusable
yea, that would be weird though
since youre the first one with this problem
ive seen plenty of black fog before, but its always caused by another mod
unfortunately that worked
oh...
if there is a fix that would be wonderful, since i really dont wanna regenerate everything
putting all the server mods back doesnt break it
im not sure there is one
maybe someone else has an idea

I did have appleskin installed, but your fog looks different from mine
I did not have these in my fog
But it still might be related

I had this issue and just fixed it!
I had previously generated LODs on the server through the old multiplayer mechanism. I deleted those on my client (
.minecraft\Distant_Horizons_server_data) and my client began requesting LODs from the server. Previously the F3 menu was completely inactive and I had that black fog.
