path scatter snap

Is there a way in path scatter to snap to the object. Right now it’s doing some weird stuff

Very hard to know what I see on your pic but the Projection Mask in the feature masking section might help. Mainly used for curve landscapes/terrains, but worked decently for a random test here

Grass on an angle. So it’s not snapping properly

hmm, and you can't have the curve closer to the ground? assuming that helps

It’s doesn’t help what actually help is the spline being shorter the longer you make it the worse it gets

hmm okay good that you found a workaround!

Not really as we are trying to separate our area

Hmm okay, I think I would need to see a video of this issue to understand it properly, still a bit lost, I am afraid

Ok no problem We are trying to cut the grass perfectly to separate the fairway and rough We need a perfect cut So we created perfectly square grass to emulate the edge we need that grass to spline and snap to the static mesh But I think it’s using the pivot point of the model and that’s why it’s rotating

ah cool idea! Now with a short video I should be able to understand well and maybe can share some fix/idea
