I’m thinking of moving on from this as it’s kind of annoying, I haven’t figured out how to configure the hood in such a way that looks good when casually thrown on. I don’t like spending minutes fiddling with this thing

use the strings to tie it shut at the waist no buttons
i like it but agreed needs strong bottom otherwise it just feels like a slightly weirder fatigue jacket
im fine with slightly weird fatigue jacket with normal ass jeans, its really just the hood situation which has me struggling
If you want to wear the hood up I don't button the peak / flap of the hood. I keep the edge of the hood just past my forehead and let the weight of the fabric hold if in place.
i always just rolled it down and treated it like an exaggerated version of that rollup hood on fatigue jackets

to pinkea's point, I would like to try w/ bigger pants, I have some harvesty balloon chinos in green which i will try but i wonder if the purple and green will have me feeling like barney the dinosaur
