Game automatically crashes on Feather when booting up with Iris enabled

I have had no previous issues with Iris in my mod load order till today, and now can't even boot up my game with it installed. I've updated nothing so there should be no new issues

Does it happen without feather? Feather probably auto installed sodium 0.6.9 which iris just now updated to support

I'm having the same problem, minecraft fails to launch using feather client with iris enabled. I keep getting this error message. (I found a temporary solution. Change iris to an older version, I set mine to 1.8.7 and kept sodium on the same latest version.)

Or just don’t use Feather. Clients cause a lot of issues with sodium and iris

Clients
Hacked clients, PVP clients, optimization clients, etc. are problematic for multiple reasons, particularly when it comes to mod compatibility. You may run into issues like rendering glitches or crashes due to their built-in modifications to Minecraft. They are unsupported by Iris and are not recommended. Instead, we recommend using a launcher that does not modify Minecraft itself, such as Prism Launcher, Modrinth App, or even the vanilla launcher from Mojang. You can find a list comparing trusted launchers at https://mc-launcher.tayou.org.
