Exceeding the size limit of a resource pack

Is there a way to exceed the 250mb limit for the resource pack that players download when they join the server?

does it affect the quality of the content inside the pack? (reducing music quality, lowering the res, etc.)

It can be configured anyways so it doesnโ€™t compress audio files, textures, etc Btw, packsquash also โ€œprotectsโ€ the resulting zip to prevent decompression by ordinary means outside of mc, so donโ€™t try to decompress it yourself to check audio quality, just load it into the game Not sure if that can also be configured, I like that feature so I never considered disabling it
