Exceeding the size limit of a resource pack
Is there a way to exceed the 250mb limit for the resource pack that players download when they join the server?

Not to bypass the limit, but yes to reduce the size of the rp

If you already use something similar, then nop
does it affect the quality of the content inside the pack? (reducing music quality, lowering the res, etc.)
In theory yes, but not noticeable, try it yourself and see
Alright, thank you so much sir
It can be configured anyways so it doesnโt compress audio files, textures, etc
Btw, packsquash also โprotectsโ the resulting zip to prevent decompression by ordinary means outside of mc, so donโt try to decompress it yourself to check audio quality, just load it into the game
Not sure if that can also be configured, I like that feature so I never considered disabling it
Oh that could be useful as well. Thank you so much for all the details, you are a life saver!
