harrington jacket sleeve size?
hi y'all, currently shopping around for a harrington and want to figure out measurements. 5'7", 35" chest, 36S coat size. currently looking at a ben sherman small on ebay, but the description lists the sleeve size (described as Raglan arm pit to cuff end) as 23.5", which seems absolutely massive (I measured some of my other outerwear jackets and the sleeves come out to 20" or 21"). is this measurement wrong? please advise

Kinda depends on if it has a ribbed cuff or not
I think my Harrington has pretty long sleeves but with its ribbed cuff it’s fine

prob gonna pull the trigger assuming i can verify that it's legit, seller has been responding to questions but referred me back to the listed pics when i asked for a new pic

High key 23.5 from the armpit seems super long though

that's the other thing giving me trouble, i can't really measure comparable jackets in my closet bc i don't really have a comparable jacket

They’re probably measuring from the top of shoulder, most of my jackets are 23 in to 24 in length from the shoulder seam.
Pretty standard measurement for a size small
22 ish inches from the armpit, this is a size L and has a really big armhole tho

and i don't know how you can say that and measure the other thing

Yeah people forget how to do things when a raglan gets involved it can make it pretty hard to shop for one secondhand. You should be golden though!
