Connection Alerts

Hello, I find these notifications very annoying and completely useless! What is the point of these repetitive alerts? Also, whenever I accidentally click on a friend’s name while scrolling through the list they receive an alert! It’s embarrassing and I really think I should have the option to disable it! Please consider this and do something at your earliest. Thanks!
