SFC do a nice one but it's pricier. I think the cut looks better though : https://scottfrasercollection.com/products/patch-pocket-denim-pants

Patch pocket denim pants (RE-STOCKED)
STOCK ITEM. Straight and wide leg with a nice high-waist. Complete with a patched 5-pocket construction, cinch back and zinc button-front fly. Inspired by early 1920s naval pants but cut just right for 100 years later. Check the 2pc - pair it with our cropped pocket denim pulloverThey've been eco-enzyme washed and then

definitely a bolder/starker cut, lookin big af. does SFC give any construction specs beyond saying theyre 14oz? just ask cuz i dont see any on the page
They're very responsive over email and will probably be able to answer anything you ask.

Indigo denim twill worker jean | MHL. by Margaret Howell
Indigo denim twill worker jean. Straight cut. Grown on waistband. Deep, stitch-through pockets and button fly. Back has cinch detail and patch pockets. Half cotton lining. Stitch detail. Made in Japan.
Also pricey new, but pop up on eBay semi regularly, I got my pair for about 60 quid
I have them and they are prolly my fave pair of jeans, can recommend.
One concern is have is that they seem like a really big/long cut in the sense that theyd take more intentional styling than a regular pair of jeans. Do you think thats the case or nah?
They certainly are unusual in that they have a super high rise. Personally I view that as a plus, as it distinguishes them from my other jeans.
I don't find them hard to wear, but they certainly are a bit unusual, but thats their charm.
Got it, thanks for the feedback! I am partial to a high rise so will consider it
