GPU Manual Driver Update?

Having issues while playing Monster Hunter Wilds beta, but unsure how to determine the issue. It runs via proton and OpenGL Renderer. After 15 or min of gameplay I consistently experience a stutter for the frames, then a "freeze" where the sound will continue, but I only see 1 new frame a minute. I can switch to steam and stop the process, and go about any other process again, including relaunching it. I have yet to experience this with other games for 2 months. I now suspect my GPU needs an updated driver. I ran a "ujust update", but it seems that fedora may not support my hardware? Hoping to get a review of this so I don't misunderstand the terminal screenshot attached. How would I manually update the AMD drivers from their site? Is there documentation i can review for this? I'm unsure which install file I would want to run, if any, but suspect RHEL. I've also read it could be a GPU voltage thing I need to tinker with in the bios. I've also read increasing virtual memory may help. I plan to test each one individually, then start combing. Any guidance or suspicions are welcome.

Your experience sounds pretty similar to what I've read on https://www.protondb.com/app/2246340

Bazzite ships a really recent kernel and AMD drivers are in the kernel so theres no need to update

Had an hour of stable gameplay forcing proton hotfix with launch options ''' gamescope -W 3840 -H 2160 -r 144 --force-grab-cursor -- %command ''' Well, crashed this morning with the same settings as the hour test. Definitely frustrating. Going to try other tinker comments.

Yeah. I think we're just stuck waiting to see how the full release hits and for proton compatability

Most of the discussion is happening here https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/8206 Be sure to use Proton Experimental with the [bleeding-edge] beta branch. You'll find some workarounds, some people say to not use gamescope, to disable uav compression in VKD3D for upscaling to work, and some other things that might all be placebo but doesn't hurt to try
