Disable mod?
I have read this thread but did not find a solution:
I want to disable the mod, but not uninstall it but don't see the option.
Distant Horizons is very intense on my CPU, causing my CPU fan to constantly spin at a very high RPM making lots of noise which I find uncomfortable/disruptive for casual and relaxing Minecraft gameplay. I am using the minimal impact CPU setting.
I like to have the LODs generated in my world, but is it possible to manually disable the mod from generating more LODs to give my CPU a break?
When I disable "distant generation" or "enable rendering" or even choose the "disabled" option for the rendering mode in advanced options my CPU still makes a lot of noise.
My CPU is an Intel i5-12400F
