SMM Doesn't Like Downpatching

TLDR: Downpatching works fine, SMM works fine, but SMM doesn't work when downpatching. I'm trying to downpatch to play Satisfactory +. (I know an update is on the way, but I've never played it and would like to try an available version) I confirmed that the downpatch was successful and I'm able to use the version of Update 8 from December. (IMG 1) But I'm unable to even attempt to launch the game modded when I've downloaded the older game version. (IMG 2) I'm only using Satisfactory + and it's dependencies. I've tried switching the game file to current patch so that SMM works then switching the files while it's open. (This just results in a vanilla launch of Update 8) I've tried downgrading and upgrading Satisfactory + as well as all of it's dependencies in every combination I could think of. (Only notable changes were that some dependencies wouldn't allow me to downgrade them too far without downgrading Satisfactory +) I've tried different versions of Satisfactory ranging from Update 7 to Update 8, WITH all of the above attempted to all of them. (Still no dice) Even if no solution to my problem can be provided, all I'm asking for is SOME WAY to play Satisfactory +. Thank you for anything you're able to help me with. (I renamed the debug info file, and I'm sorry if that's a problem)
Solution:
as stated here, we don't offer any support for older copies of the game, sorry https://docs.ficsit.app/satisfactory-modding/latest/faq.html#PlayOlderVersion_SteamCMD if you decided to continue pursuing this yourself, remember that once the mod files are in the right place, you can launch it via steam/epic/script/whatever - SMM puts the files in the right places for you, it doesn't do anything special on game launch to make stuff work...

Make sure you updated the game before launching SMM. If your game is up to date, you have both U8 and 1.0 installed in the same folder at once, and SMM is detecting the U8 version. To fix this, uninstall the game, delete the game install dir if it still exists (this is NOT the AppData folder, but the location where you installed the game), then reinstall the game, and reopen SMM. If reinstalling the game takes too long for you, a quicker fix is to delete the <game install dir>\Engine\Binaries\Win64\FactoryGame-Win64-Shipping.version file, though this is not meant to be a permanent solution, as having the game installed twice in the same directory can cause issues later.

I've uninstalled the game and now I keep my backup in a different harddrive. So now all that's in the steam game folder is the downpatched version. Still no dice. New Debug file attached.

I'd like to play a mod with the U8 version, not the 1.0 version.
