Office workers - what socks do you wear to work?
I need help with my sock game. I wear trousers, button down dress shirts, sometimes a sport coat, and ankle boots to work (usually either Alden snuff suede chukkas or Thursday shadow grey captains)
I've been wearing Uniqlo cotton crew socks but they're too small for my feet and they're getting uncomfortable as they wear down. I want to get rid of them.
I did some searching here and people seem to always recommend Darn Tough. I don't want to wear a hiking sock to work, it doesn't fit the vibe of my trousers and dress shirt.
I also found recs for American Trench but they seem a little too... idk, street wear? Am I wrong about this?
I have a pair of Happy Socks that I wear in the summer, but they are too thin to wear in the cold with boots.

I wear the same socks I'd wear outside of work.
If you're wearing ankle boots can anyone see your socks? In which case get what's comfortable.
Yes, my pant legs ride up when I sit down, so my socks are often visible
Darn Tough also has "lifestyle" socks that are lighter weight than their standard hiking ones and can come with "simpler" patterns like plain black/grey - might be worth considering

I just ordered a couple from american trench and a couple from dapper classics
Ralph’s got some good multi packs of brown/cream/tan crew socks that are what I would wear to the office half the year. Then the thinner Uniqlo 50 color ones with loafers the other half.
