rpi GPIO error
Getting a MCU 'rpi' error during config.
Im upgrading from hybrid to iDex. Using Manta M8P and CB1.
Adding
[fan]
pin: rpi:gpio79
to printer.cfg seems to fix error.... no errors on start up anyway
my question is, is this the right way to do it?

are you connecting the fans on toolboard or main board?
both fans are 4 wire 24v connected to ebb42 boards.
blue connected to ebb, red/black to main board. correct?
the OG

pin: rpi:gpio4 is just a sacrificial/virtual pin to be able to controll both parts fans. Maybe this is causing any conflict with the manta... It works on all the others
red black tapped into the 24v supply to the ebb
so, looks like you are doing it correctly.
that works too
yeah i think its because the cb1 doesnt have that pin
probably...
so my addding my bit to the printer config is a legit fix?
for now, keep it with the included pin you set up in printer.cfg
ok. i can control both seperatly in the os
yes. that is just something to be able to control both fans independently
