FAB question
What is the default save location for the Fab library in the Dash content browser? In an effort to get my Fab assets to show up by trying to switch folders I lost the original file location. No matter what folder I select I can't seem to get my Fab assets to show up when I download them. It doesn't seem to be the same path as the one in my Fab settings (AppData/Local/Temp/FabLibrary). In the beginning I had to change the pathway for quixel assets in order to get them to show up in the Dash content browser too, which I was able to do successfully. But I've had no such luck getting my dash downloads to show up. Overall, I would just like to reset to the default path in my Dash Fab library preferences to see if I can just start over. I apologize if this is solved/asked in a thread somewhere and was already answered. I recognize it's a simple issue but any input would be appreciated.

Hey @HauzKat 🙂
The way it works is that our Content Browser reads from the cache that FAB saves it content in. So you can find this path in the FAB plugin settings, and then you can enter it in the Dash preferences. (Which I guess you have already found)
Once set properly, in the FAB tab, in the menu on the right, we have a button "check for assets", you can try that, and you can also try downloading/adding some new FAB assets to your project from the FAB plugin and see if they show up 🙂
FYI, we support Megascans and most other FBX and GLTF assets from fab (but not all)
So trying with Megascans is a good starting point too see if the path settings work as they should 🙂
If this still don't work for you, we need to investigate what the possible problem can be. Seeing the output log when you try to check for new assets in the FAB view is a good starting point 🙂
