Tuxedo fit check
I got this tuxedo in December but a bunch of the accessories got lost in the mail so it's taken until now for me to be able to wear it 'normally' and actually check how it fits. Some of you might recognize the jacket from https://discord.com/channels/1116793467654381685/1116800072093532191/1323719807626907779. The measurements in the listing seemed kinda goofy but it was 80s Dior for $30 so I gambled on it and it seems like I got pretty lucky.
The main issue I see is that my right sleeve is shorter than my left, but I think there's enough allowance to fix that. To my understanding, since there aren't any buttons on the cuff this should also be a relatively cheap/easy fix, at least compared to messing with sleeves on other jackets?
The other things I'm not so sure about are:
- The back of the jacket: not sure how to interpret the wrinkles there. Do they need fixing? Are they worth fixing?
- The inseam: there's about 2 inches of allowance and I'm not sure how much or whether I should have them let out. Open to hearing any thoughts on it
- My choice of accessories/the outfit as a whole: Just need a sanity check on whether everything actually works together - everything individually resonates with me but for some reason I'm second guessing the whole ensemble. Maybe I've just been looking at it too long?

I like this! Good pickup.
I’d take it to the tailor if the sleeves are a little uneven.
Is the jacket buttoned for your rear shot? (I assume yes) I think a press would go a long way for a lot of that wrinkle, if you haven’t already — maybe the shoulder is ever so slightly off, but I feel like it’s pretty close.
I like the inseam as it is, but if you wanted to wear a lower shoe you may want to adjust it. Really personal preference there, but I strongly prefer as-is with no break.
The tie and cummerbund are certainly standout, but like it’s already a double breasted tux so a little flash is warranted imo.
What kind of cuffs does your shirt have?
Thank you!
Yeah I will definitely have the sleeves fixed if nothing else
Yes, the jacket is buttoned on the rear photo. I haven't had it pressed yet so you might be right - I hope you are lol. The shoulders were honestly the thing I was most confused about wrt the measurements since I don't have any jackets with 80s shoulder pads like this one to compare to- I am usually 17-18in but this jacket measures around 19 iirc
The shirt has french cuffs with two cufflinks each, I can send a pic tomorrow
here they are

I may be wrong, but I have a suspicion that that’s a double French cuff - if you fold the cuff in half, the holes should align and the cufflink would be more visible at the end of your sleeve

Looks awesome! I’d tailor the sleeves obviously. You could attempt to take the middle of the back in slightly to clean up the back but I’m not convinced that would fix it. A v skilled tailor would be able to say.
Overall it fits incredibly well tho. Insane pick up I’m beyond jealous
oops that's really embarrassing lol
Ty! I will see what my tailor says about the back
