Unstructured Blazer
Looking for a new unstructured blazer mainly for work travel. US, budget $500-750 ideally. I'm a 38R.
I tend to like patch pockets, and something that is lightly veering
into chore coat territory but still somewhat conservative. Something that reads pretty basic from further away but has a nice texture close-up would be great. Always thought the EG Bedford was cool, but that might be a tad too adventurous for a regular workhorse blazer.
Probably wool and/or linen? I don't want something that looks like a cheap polyester. A little wary of cotton, pique also.
Would like ideas of designers to try as alternatives to Sunspel. Closest things I have found to what I'm looking for:

https://www.sunspel.com/products/mens-lightweight-travel-wool-blazer-in-navy-mjac7197-buaa -- Texturally this is kind of boring, and I don't like the chest pleat(?).

Teatora may be worth a look
barena does a lot of this sort of thing
sometimes boglioli too. they have some really nice fabrics
both are plentiful secondhand if you have your sizing down and can take the risk
Ok I came across Boglioli on Mr Porter and it looked nice. I am pretty bog standard 38 so I should have a good range of options
some of the italian brands are cut a bit slim, varies model to model, so I would just double check measurements
but i have gotten nice boglioli jackets for like $150 before secondhand
(actually deleted my comments because there are regulars here who can probably give you a better answer than me)
if you want to go slightly more traditional ring jacket and the armoury are very nice and secondhand will work for your budget as well
Awesome will check them out, appreciate the help.
