Black Background removal ( Nvidia Background removal) OBS encoder overload while using Source record
Hello, I hope everyone is having a great weekend so far. I'm currently using the background removal from Nvidia for my camera. The problem is that I can't get rid of the black background that remains once you import the footage into any video editing software. I mostly use Sony Vegas 17. Secondly, I'm using source record by Elxedro in order to record both my webcam and gameplay separately, but OBS always tells me that my encoder is overloaded which in turn makes everything to buffer. I should mention that I want to do this while streaming at the same time for full transparency. Any help would be appreciated and educational. Lastly, I will post down below my PC specifications; maybe my PC can't handle all of that. Once again, thank you

GG @Spunkylex, you just advanced to level 2 !
Nvidia Background Removal will make the background transparent, but recording just the camera source with that background removal applied will make transparent content be black. I'm not sure how other people get around this, but I think this should work:
- Make a separate dedicated scene that contains your camera with whatever filters you normally use (including source record), EXCEPT for the nvidia background removal
- In all scenes where you want your camera with the background removal, add this camera scene as a scene source, and apply the nvidia background removal filter to that scene source
- Do a test recording to make sure that source record works on your camera, and that it records it without the background removal filter applied
You can always remove the background later when you edit the videos
As for your encoder overload issue, can you post an OBS log after you encounter the issue? Or otherwise get an older log where this happened and post it here
It could be that streaming, recording, and recording individual sources may be too much even for a 3080ti's encoder chip
@Hunter AP Will do
