Styling good, rly like the pants here
Curious what the back of this coat looks like
Textures go hard
these pants were my favorite too
the way the pleats hang there down below the knees is wild
i need the hat where is the hat
Ya if they make a women's version of those pants I'm copping
i think i said when they swapped from homme plisse to im men for what sub brand would go to PFW that it was an upgrade
massively
Lotta neat pieces I'd love to try/buy but I suspect it's all men's and won't translate over to womens
people seem to believe it now
easily my favorite collection i have seen this season
i have a backlog to get through but still
also wild there wasnt an issey thread in here?
for me its not the show of the season but its still really pleasant to see a good menswear runway from an issey sub brand
been a few years of mid from homme plisse
what is your favorite so far?
yeah i was shocked
dries so far but theres a lot of action today and tommorow so subject to change
Not really surprising tbb
We do most of our chatting freeform in the fashion channel
And it's like not one of the core discord brands
fuck this whole runway was so good
this was a great collection and im excited for the future of dries but one of those cases where i have to admit my personal taste probably is coloring my ability to really appreciate it
but yes many more to come and im already behind
the textiles were a little hit or miss (the grid was great but hurt my eyes, and the embossed one didn't work in either brown or purple for me)
the solid swarths of draped fabric though yes please
these are the ones i would want to wear most
feel like the hoods would make for the greatest grocery store run of all time
i also prefer the solid drapey ones
Ooh
Issey Miyakes the one that does the pleated trousers right?
ya issey miyake does the pleated stuff but this collection above is only one of their diffusion lines

Issey is great but Rosenrot is problematic, as a heads up
thx, edited
just grabbed a top link that had photos, my b
Np! Just wanted to give a heads up, love the brand discourse you've been putting out
thx
its cool to have a space to talk about them
what did they do
oh boy
I don't wanna have discourse here; there's a thread in QnA if you look for rosenrot that's pretty comprehensive
Fair! Ill do the digging
yup! not to dismiss you, just didn't want to clog the brand discussion
I think my only "gripe" with Homme Plisse/Pleats Please is that they can easily become the outfit. They're really easy to throw into outfits, which is great, but trying to work them into the fit instead of them becoming the entire fit is hard.
They work really great as accent pieces though, esp in vibrant colors. I saw someone wearing the purple cardigan as a layer under a coat and it was fantastic
All good! I did the research and fucking yikes, I get it
ive seen too many of this where the pants are almost wearing the wearer
ill admit i have a pair of homme plisse pants i wear more like sweatpants around the house and should probably sell
there are awesome fits with homme plisse/pleats please but they are more the exception than the norm, and i think they require a skill level beyond my own reach to pull off well
are there any wide ass plisses? I feel like they would rock in a cropped beeg silhouette like hakamas or smth
ive not seen any super super wide ones - most go about as far as this but maybe someone can reference other options

MONTHLY COLOR DECEMBER
These wide pants are available in chic color tones. They are designed with vents at the back of the hems. They have pockets on both sides and belt loops at the waist. They have a button-fly design.
they tend to want to drape inward
so to add width, they have to add big deeper pleats to get volume or change the construction in some other way
they do monthly colors where they tweak the cuts but it's more common in the other lines and Pleats Please
