Stepper missing steps?
Hey! Please help a noob!
I am configuring a vcore 3.1 300x300, it’s a 2 years old kit that got shelved half assembled between house moves.
Im doing the klipper configuration and I got stuck trying to do the z-tilt because randomly at every round it would position the probe in different points while registering the same coordinates.
It seems the steppers are losing steps, specifically when moving diagonally
How do I go to debug and fix this?
I can reproduce with a macro looping around the three z tilt points, see attachment.
Any help would be much appreciated! 🙏🏼

make sure the grub screws holding the pulleys onto the motor shafts are nice and tight. Add loctite if you have it.
@TheTik thank you, I did that and it helped a bit. I also noticed that the right belt was a bit too tight and after loosening it the problem is gone 🫶 thanks
