YouTube Audio Quality Issues
I'm doing some private test livestreams to YouTube, my audio coming into OBS is 5.1 24-bit 48 KHz, and OBS is encoding the 5.1 audio in AAC at a bitrate of 960 Kbps which should be more than plenty for 5.1 at that bit depth and sample rate. It's an RTMPS stream in Low Latency mode (not ultra). For whatever reason, when I'm checking out the stream on my browser at full quality the audio sounds like a badly encoded MP3 at around 64 Kbps. Is this because YouTube is re-encoding it to deliver to my browser and since I'm not a monetized channel or partner or whatever I don't have much bandwidth allocated to me? Will the audio sound better through STBs? This is a dedicated streaming PC BTW with a Focusrite Dante PCIe R card that the audio is coming in through, Ryzen 3950X CPU, RTX 2080 Ti, and 64GB DDR4 RAM.
