Cartograph latest version crash
@yeshjho Thanks for making this awesome mod. But I am encounting a crash issue when using the latest version of cartograph and some other mods.
Here is what I know:
Cartograph 0.8 and other mods = unplayable high frequency random crash
Cartograph 0.7.3 and other mods = no crash
Cartograph 0.8 only = no crash
Most of the crash happens when I select or placing a big blueprint.
Sometimes after the blueprint have been placed successfully, I tried to build some other thing it crashed.
Sometimes I'm just about to cut down a tree, it crashed...
I will upload my savefile, blueprint, crash report and modlist.
I haven't test which mod is conflict with cartograph because it's not a easy job for me and it is 2:00 am in my country right now...
Is there an easy way to test it?
Sorry for the bad english.

As it so happens, I just ran face-first into this as well. Similar symptoms, went to place a conveyor lift, accidentally splined it into the heavens (I have Infinite Spline), crashed. I wasn't going post about it because, well, at least partially my own fault ― "Fix: Don't repeat the dumb thing."
In any case, my log tail was quite similar. Same faulting module, same logging termination before the stacktrace. Seems I coincidentally did that at the same moment as Cartograph was attempting a redraw, and it took that personally.
Extended log attached.

Or not. Discord has decided I no longer get to upload stuff. k.

triggered by @McCovicanHmmm Most of the crash reports I'm getting includes that quadtree assertions. I guess the reason the crashes themselves look random is because the objects are corrupted internally in the engine. Maybe having too many objects in a cramped area causes it?
I'll look into it further. Thank you all for for reporting!
Found the cause of the crash, I'll depoly a fix when I get back home later!
That indeed tracks with the circumstances of my crash. It was an extremely cramped area with lots of pipes/conveyors/appropriate miscellaneous factory basement shit/etc. Thank you very much for your effort! 😁
Yeah me too. I like to put things very close together. For example, placing a wall outlet under the power pole or inside a foundation to hide the wires. Glad to know that you have found the cause. Thank you for your terrific work!

Thanks for the intense testing!
I'm sure this is me, but I'm still having the same crashes. Without Cartograph, it runs just fine (and on it's own) but working out which mod it's clashing with... !
Log attached. Looks like something is trying to draw where something else is in place and the engine exits.
Nah it was me, missed one place to fix. Thanks for the report, the log really helped a lot getting to the point very quickly. I'm building a new version now...
Marvellous!
