Large CPU usage and overload message even when standing still
On 1.20.1, DH is using an ungodly (well, enough for my fans to be extremely loud) amount of CPU even when standing still without distant generation. I do not remember this huge CPU usage when playing on ≥1.20.6, but I could just be misremembering.
Happens on both singleplayer and multiplayer.

Update to the latest nightly build
is this just a normal thing for the builds available on modrinth cause i get this issue too
im on a moderately good pc too so that has had me confused for a while
Yes
Hm, could it be that it's importing all the chunks that aren't LODed?
Weirdly it's not showing this on screen, and never did

Is there just no way to know what DH is doing with this much of my CPU?
Tried removing every single mod and data pack and it's still using that much CPU
Same world, with DH vs without DH

... Surprisingly not that much
Although I do keep MC idling a lot in the background, with without DH is not a problem at all but with DH it keeps consuming 34% of my CPU
How much ram did you allocate to Minecraft?
8 GiB
and youve tried everything in the message?
What message? FAQ? If so yes, I have minimum on CPU and have disabled distant generation
this one

1. This happens every time I load into a world, so I am moving though the world as slowly as possible
2. Still happens when I'm at 2
3. I have it disabled
4. Increasing the CPU load is not the point
It also certainly has nothing to do with rendering as turning LOD rendering on/off doesn't change anything
Tried on 1.21.1 on the latest Modrinth release (2.2.1-a), it was in fact much lighter than on 1.20.1

So it really was better in the olden days huh
