Cuff or no cuff. Flannel pants

Hi. I recently bought some secondhand double pleated wool flannel pants. I need to get them hemmed and was wondering if y’all usually cuff them or leave them with a plain hem. I know it boils down to preference. But I’m just curious what your preference is. Archaic styleforum posts say that pleated pants are typically cuffed, but that seems like a “rule” no one really cares about anymore.

What do you personally prefer?

I generally prefer the way wool pants hang/drape with a cuff.

i usually cuff "heavier" pleated pants to have no break (prl andrew cords are the exception because of how they look visually with breaks) i'd consider what other pants you have; if everything else you own has a cuff it might be worth having one pair different

It’s can be a silly rule but I really do prefer pleated trousers with a cuff. Just looks better to me most of the time
