Loafer/shoe recommendations for tobacco linen suit
Looking for loafer (preferable) or shoe recommendations to go with my tobacco linen suit for my wedding. It is similar in color to this one on the right,. Would something like these go well? or do I need something more brown. The vibe of the wedding will be more casual. The suit is being made right now so i dont have a picture of the actual suit. under $500 would be ideal.

Traveler Penny Butter Suede
Not to be confused with the previous Ivory Suede, Butter has a warmer base color. An off-white suede has proven to be incredibly versatile and looks great with wear. Similar to a white buck, you can dress it up or down, and it will develop a unique character over time. Our penny loafer was created with two things in mi

Traveler Penny Coral Suede
Occasionally, a loafer needs a more exciting color for those vacations in the sun. Coral has a range of colors, from salmon to a blood-orange hue in direct sunlight. With wear, the suede will fade just enough, becoming more subtle and easy to wear daily. Our penny loafer was created with two things in mind: versatility

Safest is medium to dark brown. The suit color is already pretty eye catching, those two colors feel too loud to me personally.
i like the off-white, though dark brown or burgundy/c8 probably have more utility in the long run
your location may affect things but morjas, meermin, allen edmonds and velasca are all at/under $500 retail
located in US
agreed about having a shoe with more long term utility. that was a concern of mine with the louder colors
all of those above will still work, though AE is based in the us if time is more of a factor
do you prefer a loafer for this kind of suit? i already own some AE brown shoes
that's up to personal preference; a picture of the brown shoes would be helpful as a reference
i like loafers in general but derbies and oxfords would be fine here as well
these are pretty much what I already have
would need to see the shoe and suit together but those should be fine if you like them
thanks for the help
dont have the suit yet since its being made but need to bring the shoes ill likely be wearing to the next fitting
leaning toward getting something like this since the fiancee said go flashier for the wedding if you want https://www.velasca.com/products/daziee-ss

Velasca | Suede leather tapered loafer, entirely made in Italy
Classic style with a tapered shape. In sand-colored suede leather: an entirely made in Italy loafer.
I’d go for dark brown suede personally
This is the safest bet. It is hard to tell on suits like this without seeing the exact color side by side with the shoe.
The pale suede would also possibly work but I personally would wear them that much
I think you can go slightly more casual than I normally would with a suit here also. The grant stone bourbon suede is good option as are the other brands mentioned above. If the budget is really $500, I would consider Drake’s Canal Suede loafer even though it is a fairly casual loafer.
Probably a more polarizing shoe, but Jacques Soloviere raffia if OP wants a slightly louder style
I’m with you on that. You run the risk of looking like you tried (and failed) to match the colour of your suit. i’d go for a brown leather loafer
I’ll say that the wisest move is to defer to your Fiancée’s preferences - fwiw I have a light suede pair of GS travelers (not butter, but similar) and find them to hold the color well, but be hard to wear. Coral def fucks too — but here’s a few of my suggestions:
