Trying to Update Nameservers for domain to get out of pending state, but having a few issues

Hi everyone -- I have a bit of a weird situation. Full disclosure, I am NOT a developer at all, just a dentist trying to get my domain for my dental practice sorted and transferred back to my original GoDaddy account after an issue with the marketing company who made my website transferred it out without my permission. I recently got access to the domain back after an extended legal battle, and the domain shows as pending in my Cloudflare account. It says that I need to updated the nameservers to be able to verify ownership before I can do anything with it, like transfer it back to the GoDaddy account I used to purchase it originally. The problem is that whatever the marketing company did made it so that the domain no longer shows up in my GoDaddy account, so I'm not able to update the DNS to match the ones from Cloudflare there, like the page keeps instructing me to. When I check the DNS records for the domain, it shows that it's supposed to be set up as "full" which I think means that Cloudflare is where the nameservers should be managed now, not GoDaddy, but I can't seem to find anywhere to update the nameservers. Can anyone help me with what I need to do to be able to get the name servers updated and/or how I can just get this domain out of the pending status so I can transfer it? I'd rather not have to pay $200 for a business account just to get access to support chat if possible... TIA!

All the directly domain management/registrar level stuff in Cloudflare would be under "Domain Registration -> Manage Domains", if Cloudflare is the Registrar. What's the domain?

www.emberdentalarts.com it comes up as GoDaddy being the registrar, but I'm on the phone with them, and they're telling me that it's registered at Cloudflare, and the current nameservers it's on are Cloudflare servers so they can't change it When I go to Manage Domains, it does not show up. I can only see it on the main dashboard for the account and click into it that way

Domain Name: EMBERDENTALARTS.COM Registry Domain ID: 2773140490_DOMAIN_COM-VRSN Registrar WHOIS Server: whois.godaddy.com Registrar URL: http://www.godaddy.com Updated Date: 2024-02-20T21:52:10Z Creation Date: 2023-04-15T13:56:24Z Registry Expiry Date: 2025-04-15T13:56:24Z Registrar: GoDaddy.com, LLC
yea, it's definently godaddy. They might be getting confused with the fact Cloudflare is currently the nameservers of it, but only Godaddy can change the nameservers and such

Ok yeah that’s what I thought. I’ve been going in circles with them about this since they’re saying it’s no longer a domain they can access since it was transferred out of my account to a Cloudflare account (not mine, is in mine now) a while back. Is there anywhere I might be able to show Cloudflare my proof of purchase or anything like that to be able to get the domain out of the pending state so I can make changes to it in Cloudflare?

The proof you would be able to give to Cloudflare is changing your domain's nameservers to the two they specify Right now your domain is pointed at
Name Server: BOB.NS.CLOUDFLARE.COM Name Server: IRIS.NS.CLOUDFLARE.COM

That’s the issue though 😩 GoDaddy says they can’t change the name servers for me, or give me back access to the domain in my GoDaddy account to do it myself, and claims that Cloudflare is where I would have to change the DNS but Cloudflare says I have to do it in GoDaddy So I have no way to actually change the DNS to match what it needs to be

You need to get back registrar level (Godaddy) control of your domain, otherwise you don't really own it at all. It's also expiring in 2 months Godaddy's support is known to be pretty bleh. Maybe try other ways, such as email? But yea, right now "your domain" is fully active in another Cloudflare account. If you ever had access to that account before, you could try ways of recovering it, but it's very much not your domain at all while you don't have access to the registrar/godaddy level

I'll try shooting them an email as well, thanks. I'm literally telling the support agent what needs to be done and he's just telling me "we need to figure out what to do" so that's fun. It sounds like i just need to keep on it with GoDaddy then, I appreciate the help!
