Minecraft Bedrock server out of a mobile singleplayer world??
Title is pretty self explanatory but I'll explain further:
So basically my girl started a singleplayer world for me to join to and we've been playing there but it's getting pretty anoying to always have her online in order to play. So we decided to turn that world into a server that we can turn on at our convenience and not require the other player to be on always.
I remembered that on iOs you can see the world folder through the Files app and she could send me the zip file of that world folder. I extracted it and, not to my surprise, it looks totally different as to a java world.
So after this long ass context, my question is: how can I make a server, maybe aternos or just straight from my computer locally (that I can keep on 24/7, I don't mind) with those files. I'll add here a screenshot of what those files & folders are.

Iβm not sure if aternos allows you to run bedrock servers
But here is a suggestion, actually run a bedrock server, and see what default file structure it creates

no yeah I've made bedrock servers before but idk if the compatibility is the same as with mobile worlds. Even so, I don't know if I can even host it locally or in a host.
its a normal bedrock world
so you can
oh betcha, so from my pc I could host it right?
like a java server
wait what do I move from left (the singleplayer world) to right (the server)?
Also I use playit.gg to create tunnels ffor my ip so in Java servers my friends can join. Does that also work with the server?
Followed this video step by step and still getting issues when joining thrrough both the ips he says to use https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kagbKzFseA8
I portforwarded the ports correctly and I entered my ipv4 correctly too but it doesn't seem to work either way
send logs
!paste
oops
!logs
Please check your server log for errors from your plugins.
If you need further help understanding the errors, please send us the whole log file.
Where can I find the server log?
Logs are stored in
<server_directory>/logs/
. Search for a file explorer in your server's management interface and navigate to that directory. Once you've opened that up, search for the latest.log
file. Some providers have a separate page for logs and may hide the "logs" folder.
On Aternos:
β’ Go to https://aternos.org/log/.
On Minehut and server.pro:
β’ Go to the "files" tab in the left menu.
β’ Navigate to the root directory of your server.
β’ From there navigate to /logs/latest.log
.
What should I do with the log?
β’ First of all, read it! I mean, that's what you do all the time when you run a server, isn't it? Try to locate any errors that have anything to do with the issue you are facing.
β’ If you got the latest.log
file or created a .txt
file with the necessary errors you can upload these directly to the channel, but we prefer if you upload them to https://mclo.gs/.
β’ If you have trouble downloading the log file, copy/paste the text to a paste service (like mclogs). Copy the link that it gives you and send it to us. (Don't worry, McLogs hides your users' IPs.)Admincraft Canned Responses
there's no logs xd
is there server running?
yessir

console ain't the same as java tho, it only shows this

iff I had a log file, but that's not working apparently
hmm wait I just turned on server logs thhrough server.properties
let me start again and see
this is what I enaabled
but this is nowhere to be seen...
shall I try this @ProGamingDk ?
Temporarily disable firewall on host machine and try joining with the hostβs LAN IP
Win fw can act very weirdly
Will do, is there an exclusion that can be made for this not to happen?
@ππππΎππΎπΈ
Should be, but like I said, windows firewall can be very strange
Go into rules and add an exclusion for udp@19132 for all traffic
Still not working @ππππΎππΎπΈ :(
I turned off completely the firewall and it still doesn't connecct
still try it, also set your network to private
when a network is set to public/guest firewall stuff is wonky
yea I did try it that way, I'll make my net to private.
did you in the advanded firewall section?
I didn't make the network privaate, just disabled it and tried it that way
doing that in a sec
waait how tho
top left of this theres a advance settings tab
or button
I'm there
this shi opened
go to inbound rules, create new and make one to allow 19132 on udp
same with outbound
allow both
what name and desc I give it?
doesnt matter
bet
aight done
do I still turn off firewall?
well test if it works, if it does try and enable firewall
if it still does
keep it enabled.
will do
also private network still shows as not conneccted
and you set it to private?
sec
saame on both
i meant on the network settings page
heh
right click the ethernet icon, select the open network settings go to the internet and select private
aaaah
Β΄like this?
yupp
when starting the server I got the popup from the network thing
I allowed it
tho still not working xd
dissabled firewall, restarted the server and still not working
do I make this shi on allow?
it's from the port properties
wait could this be the problem?
there's no outbount rules for that, only inbound
try both yes
udp correct?
yessir
also in server.properties server-ip is empty right
sec
there's nothing like "server-ip" xd
only this
my server.properties
didn't fix it
I don't even know what to do with this xd
bruh
bruh
tell me what looks wrong here π
the first bedrock_server thing isn't allowed on private
still didn't fix it :madCat:
anything here maybe?
"inbound connection block default"
set to allow
I'll try it when I'm home, I was busy af yday.
the thing is that when I turn off the firewall, it doesn't allow me to change that so I supose it's already off. I'll still change it
