Super low fps on new build.
Hello
I've got a recent build of Ryzen 9700x cpu and 7800XT gpu. It's also the first time I use bazzite.
For some reason I'm getting 40 fps in Overwatch and 50ish frames in Marvel rivals both on lowest settings. Any tips how can I check if its the GPU being used? The gpu fans start spinning maybe once every 10-15 minutes while the lights are always on. Seems like the load isn't going through it.

The vertical bracket was sinking in the case basement and it didnt have great contact with the GPU. It is actually super confusing that it had enough connection to boot through the GPU but the loose connection kept it on super low framerate and couldnt be utilized.

Is Resizable BAR support enabled in your BIOS? Makes a HUGE difference for some users when gaming on Linux

Realistically with an old Nvidia 1080 on win 10 I get 220 fps on Overwatch and 120 on Marvel. Surely I should be getting a lot more with a 7800xt.
Found another thread with similar issues https://discord.com/channels/1072614816579063828/1326753833094873231, they got almost 4x the performance after changing those BIOS settings
What that actually do?
without being too technical, it let your card actually use its full memory bandwidth when communicating with the cpu
Hi, upon checking, the setting has been enabled therefore it is not the solution to my problem 😦
I think the gpu is not utilized. Is there any way I can check for Radeon 7800xt
you can check utilization with nvtop
This was finally resolved and it was the silliest problem. It was actually a hardware issue not software.
