Multistream Setup
I just want a second pair of eyes for multistreaming to see if I have the PC horsepower to actually maintain all of these encodes for stream. If not then I'll probably figure out what to drop in discussion here as well.
(It'll likely just be that if I do have to drop something it'll be the local recording, it's mainly to have the highest quality master file for editing)
I attached a screenshot of my initial thoughts.

You shouldn't struggle with these settings when using NVENC, main issue will be your bitrate but as for different resolutions to different outputs should be fine
Fair point! I'll check my bitrates and everything as well. Should be sufficient though
What settins are you using for OBS? Namely presets for NVENC and the like
Twitch (Enhanced Broadcasting)
Youtube (Horizontial is the 1440p) , the other is 1080p for vertical
If this is all within same instance of OBS then make sure canvas is set to 4k
Yes this is all in the same instance. But that is interesting! Can you elaborate a bit more as to why. Currently my Canvas is 1080p
Easier on GPU to downscale then to upscale
Essentially you'll stretch the 1080p to 4k so won't be say pixel perfect on recording
Ah gotcha gotcha! I can work with that 😛
I think this was my only major change that I made, so I can probably give testing a go. Then ill be back with a log
GG @Zenhaizer01 (David), you just advanced to level 9 !
Forgot my output resoultion was set to 720p so my recording came out that way 😭
Yea set canvas and output in video tab to 4k and just change the output settings in each encoder
Status update, it seems that whenever I get to a busy part of Pokemon it essentially shits itself and lags heavily, if im running all the captures and recording session.
but the logs not indicating aanything

OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) is free and open source software for video recording and live streaming. Stream to Twitch, YouTube and many other providers or record your own videos with high quality H264 / AAC encoding.
I found out the game's framerate was uncapped i feel silly
