Suit fabric for a wedding in Mexico?
Was looking for some advice on suit fabrics for a wedding in Cabo, Mexico.
I don't have a ton of experience in tropical wools, linen blends, etc.
I love the look of a linen suit, but know the fabric will be too wrinkley for pictures. Any suggestions or suit materials I should look into will be greatly appreciated!

What's the dress code and time of year? And your budget?
You’re gonna get hot no matter what tbh - Generally, tropical wools / frescos / solaro are some of the more purpose built woolens, but you can find lightweight S1XX stuff as well. Hopsack can also be cool as a full suit.
Wool/silk/linen blends can be pretty good for lightweight suiting that’s still breathable.
Nice linen is still a bit slouchy, yeah, but sometimes it can work if it’s not a black tie sort of deal.
It's my wedding, so I think I'll be the only one actually wearing a suit.
Dress code for guests is cocktail.
Budget is ideally ~$500-750. I could spend more, but I don't anticipate wearing the suit again except for future summer weddings as a guest.
Thank you! Yes, definitely anticipate still sweating through everything. I just wanted something that fit the "vibe" of a more tropical wedding as opposed to gray/navy.
My general recommendation is to just go with a classic navy blue suit, perhaps in a 2-season fabric instead of 3 or a wool silk linen blend or something but since it's your wedding you can do whatever you want!

The guide to hopsack (and mesh, mock leno and basket weave)
Hopsack and similar materials are a good choice for summer blazers - sharp jackets usually made in smart colours, such as navy. The materials don’t vary that much, even if the weaves themselves are different. A mesh in a classic menswear dark-navy won’t look that different from a hopsack in...
and congrats!
i'd say stick with a fresco or high twist wool as a suit; hopsack and other textured weaves read more like an odd jacket and dont perform well as trousers
heavy linen could work well since it rumples more than it wrinkles, but you're hard-pressed to find that given your budget
wool/silk/linen blends that SuitSupply do are not a bad choice either but theyll have more texture and wrinkle more
i would actually look into the Suitsupply 4-ply Traveller suits
also push for a slightly wider fit in trousers and jacket for more breathing room, that'll help with airflow
