Hey @Dawid W. Sorry to hear that, let's try to sort it out!
When you push the edit button, do you see anything in the UE output log?
What UE version are you on? And are you using one more more screens for your PC set up?
Hi, it works now Iām reinstall app. I work on ie 5.4 and yes, two monitors
aha great!
Let me know if it stops working again! š
I had the same experience with two monitors and HiDPI settings (3840 x 2160). The preferences menu didn't work either. 2560x1440 works for me.
Is this on the latest 1.8.3 version of Dash? š¤
Yep. But I tested it only in 5.5. So it could be ok in 5.4
Thanks for letting me know!
@Costantino perhaps we have some remaining issues with the multiple monitor bug? š¦
Could be š¤ I wonder if when the edit panel doesn't appear, resizing or moving the editor changes anything
@der_urig Would you be open to helping us test this a bit?
We don't have the screen setup to test your particular case :/
How can I help?
Can you go back to the problematic screen settings and try these?
1. Do you see anything in the UE output log?
2. Can you try re-sizing and moving the editor and see if it helps?
3. Can you check what screen you have as main in Windows settings, and see if it makes any difference having UE on main, or non main scren?
Thanks a ton!š š
The demonstration effect occurred. Edit and main menu now work. - Maybe it was due to an older Dash installation that I found recently when I reinstalled Dash.
I found some red flagged output.log's.
haha oh.. typical š Thanks for sharing and trying this though!
I can see in the logs that you may not have the Dash Scale set to 100%, can you check the Dash preferences? In the main dash menu
not using 100% could lead to issues when using more than one monitor
Yep. I scaled it to 150 because the font was too small .-) I'm back now to 2560x1440 because 3ds Max didn't like the higher dpi too.
okay okay got it, thanks!
You're welcome
