Basic Boot Recommendations

I’m enjoying my first real winter and am in need of my first pair of boots. Mainly looking at Allen Edmonds because I have a return credit there. I’m still developing a sense of personal style so I’m looking for something versatile. I don't have full range of motion in my left arm so I tend to either tie shoes loosely then slip them on or buy slip on shoes. I mention this because I was looking at combat-style boots but it seems like my system might not work with those? The Higgins Mill I was eyeing seem to have a model with a zipper but I wonder if that screws with the waterproofing. I think chelsea and chukka boots are also popular choices around here. - Budget $320 - Location: Baltimore - Prefer shopping in person but online is fine - Hoping to get within ~2 weeks - Comfortable with second hand but see above - 5’7”, 135lb

I would just buy blundstones tbh They’re tanks, slip on boots, relatively cheap, and they look good

After looking at their website it seems like they're Chelsea boot style? I'm probably going to stick with AE because I'm getting them free

https://www.allenedmonds.com/browse/shoes/mens/boots/chelsea#sortCriteria=relevance take your pick Allen Edmonds are nice because they're very weather resistant. Not something Allen Edmonds is particularly known for. Something like this might work, marked as "Weatherproof": https://www.allenedmonds.com/product/mens-tanner-chelsea-boot-3030330/grey-leather-ec4501344

I'm gonna drop the weatherproof thing and just assume they're all reasonably sealed. I'm going to walk over to the store today and try some of them on and figure out what leather to get. Thanks guys
