Nvidia HDR issues
Hello, I recently installed bazzite on my nvidia machine, and it seems to be wokring great.
The only issue is that when I go to enable HDR, the settings say my display does not support HDR, even though it definitely does.
The image I'm running is bazzite-deck-nvidia, and I'm connecting over HDMI, does anyone know of a potential fix for this? My monitor only has HDMI ports, so I can't use displayport. I also know my monitor and HDMI cable is capable of HDR as it works when I dmboot into Windows. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Don’t know for sure if this is the cause but it might be your monitor is not reporting the correct EDID. I’m not sure how to override it but someone else here might.
i will just leave this here since i saw deck, nvidia, hdr (not something i can test anyway)
This sounds more like an EDID issue than a nvidia issue
Gamescope usually just reports whatever the EDID says about hdr support
Yep it's what I suspect too, my post was more while rushing to work. The hdr experience on Nvidia is supposedly not in a good state though on gamescope?
no it’s not
Gotcha, that makes sense. I'm using a FireTV, so I'm gonna dig into the setting there and see if I can get it working, thanks
Turns out I had to enable HDMI enhanced mode on my FireTV to get it working
