Road - StreetCurbs

In the road tool is there any way to include Street Curbs on the side of the roads? I tried to use the same curve I use to create the road but it doesnt push the road properties.

Do you mean an existing street curb asset? 🙂 and what did you mean with "it doesn't push the road properties"

If you have curb assets, I would use Path Scatter on the same spline as in the road, and then use the parallel width of Path Scatter. You can then use references to link the paralell width of Path Scatter with the width of the Road If you dont't have curb assets, I would create a new road tool, with same spline, and use the width settings in road tool 2 to create something like in this picture, but without the noise of course

By "it doesn't push the road properties" I mean in real time, If I change something on the road like the width I will have to change this too. As we usually have something along the side of the road, it would be cool to have this option (insert curbs) on the road tool.

aha yee, the way right now to sort this would be to link the widths, as I mentioned above, it is not a perfect workflow but works pretty good.

The problem is this doesnt follow the road but the splines. And the road doesnt follow the splines exactly after we do some adjustments, like projection to the landscape for example. If the road has the option to insert this on its own would solve the problem.

You can project the Path Scatter onto the same landscape, perhaps this will help But yes, extending this to the road tool itself would be ideal for sure. It is definitely in our plans, as the road tool currently is quite basic.
