Heyyy, just wanted to clarify something. Is your ping consistently around 500ms, or does it occasionally spike up to that level?
Always
I mean
Since the probleme started
Yes
I would appreciate it if you could run a traceroute to
162.249.72.0
and share the results with me 🙏How to do it ?
Open cmd as admin type tracert 162.249.72.0

.
can anyone help ?
Bruh
Its the same thing again and again
70 ping it shows me , as soon im in a game im on a 300-500 ping
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
It looks like there might be something going on with your internet service provider (ISP), mind telling me what ISP you’re using?
It looks like the issue might be related to your internet provider's CGNAT. There could be a congestion or possibly some service disruptions on their end.
In the meantime, you could try using 1.1.1.1 Warp (https://1.1.1.1) – it might help things run smoother.
Let me know if that works!
im not really familiar with all this so what is a ISP ?
Your ISP is the company that provides you with internet access. If you are unsure of your current ISP, you can find out by going to ifconfig .co (remove the space between) and copying the value displayed next to 'ASN'
sorry for being such a headache but it tells me there is no such cmd even without the space and i dont really know what you mean by asn
and the 1111 thing just get me with no wifi
you need to look it up in your browser, it's not a command 🙂
I apologize for the lack of clarity. ipconfig .co is a website (just remove the space between). On this website, you'll find a table. In this table, there's a column labeled 'ASN'. Next to the ASN' entry, you'll see an associated value, such as 'AS12345' (this is just an example). And just copy paste that
I’m sorry but what do you mean?
when its on it turn off my wifi
smh
That seems odd, like you can’t use google or something at all or?
yup
tho i wanted to ask bcs i couldnt find any anwser
what does orange led mean\
cuz i just checked on steam also and im gettin like half of my usual speed
Pardon?
i use ethernet and on the port where its plugged in i have a green led and an orange one so if u know maybe what this may mean
anw let me try this
Ohh, that just means the connection is active and working.
ah
alr alr
But 1.1.1.1 isn’t working for you? It’s normal for your WiFi connection to disappear for some seconds but should come back again.
Mind doing this?
it did that then later after this it went off for quite a long time
im tryin but im gettin a connection timed out
Go to whatismyisp .com instead then
And Copy paste your ISP
Hmmm that's the first time I've seen someone have an issue with 1.1.1.1.
@bwaarin honestly im really grateful for your help but the more i try thing the more i see that nothing works and im starting to think its just a ethernet cable thinng somehow ? like i was gettin the double im gettin now and from day to another evrything just get bamboozled for no reason
tho my isp is
Telecom Algeria
Also
I did a scan with malwarebytes had some malware doing some shit with my pc now my wifi feel smoother even tho its the same speed which is 1/2 of the originak one
If the issue originated with your Ethernet cable, traceroute would have shown packet loss and high round-trip time on the first hop. However, the traceroute indicates that hops 2-4 are experiencing the problems. This strongly suggests that the issue lies within your Internet Service Provider's (ISP's) CGNAT.
TL;DR: Your local network appears to be functioning correctly.
And that could also explain your internet speeds.
How long have you had this problem for?
About
One week
Can you try to get 1.1.1.1 wrap working? I think it would help.
am I getting my job stolen?

@bwaarin is right this looks like a CGNAT problem with your ISP, I saw similar problems with Cellular providers, where one of the towers was fubared
Im going to check it with them today
OH CRAP
i forgot the ceo existed
this is not a pyramid scheme 😭🙏
my dude with the best profile pic! 😁 😎
:Gekko_Wingman_Sip: did you draw yours yourself

My ISP trolling me like fr , they said its the normal mb/s i was getting since every day while i was gettin the double for the past years
Send them a screenshot of the traceroute and insist that something is wrong.
