Maybe try increasing the brightness on the TV
if im sure i think gamma help too?
im not sure. i never bothered using gamma
if you are playing the forest instead, im sure there is a setting for Cave brightness and other types of brightness
Use a lighter
If it's at your base use skull lanters
Or don't travel at night
The game is just dark
