Going to London in a few days
Last time I went I was 10
Do you guys have any brands to recommend that I could check?
I'm usually into classy stuff(coats, trenches, shirts, suits,..) any kind of dressed up stuff if that makes sense
Thanks π

crockett & jones shops
saville row maybe? i hear its not what it used to be tho
What is your budget?
Broadly speaking Harrods and Selfridge's and Liberty and Browns for pricey luxury multibrand that's fun to look at. Nearly every major designer is on or around New and Old Bond Street. Trad tailoring around Saville Row and Jermyn Street.
A couple of nice stores at Coal Drops Yard near Kings Cross, but much more casual.
Smaller boutiques and streetwear dotted all around Soho (End clothing) and Picaddily (snow peak and DSM) and near Brick Lane (goodhood, and rivet and hide). Brick Lane for vintage.
Thrifting potentially around Notting Hill (also has Garbstore), Mayfair and Chelsea.
Brycelands and Clutch Cafe are near each other in Marylebone and may be worth checking out.
Clutch Cafe and RRL for awesome , expensive things. RRL has one of the prettiest shops anywhere.
Dover Street Market and END for big multibrand places
Acne studios if you're in the area, but not weorth going out of your way IMO
Obligatory mention for Hey Cowboy for western vintage, and it's by all the rest of the brick lane vintage stuff.
Halfords has some nice bikes but IDK about clothes. Harrods maybe π
I'm blaming autocorrect
Studio Nicholson in Soho, King & Tuckfield, and if you like Scott Fraser you can check if you can get an appointment to their boutique
I'm a fan of Margaret Howell shirting, there's a sale store at Margaret St (near Oxford St) that sells previous season items marked down
Damn thanks guys I'l try to look at the map which I suck at and note those down
Not sure on budget yet
John Simons is def worth checking out as well, a couple of doors down from Brycelands. Also, if you're interested in thrifting the charity shops in Marylebone often have good stuff
Damn Clutch cafe had a very cool atmosphere but very very expensive.. most stuff 2-3k GBP
Should try Shelfridge and maybe harrods tomorrow.
Oxford street is cool Boggi has a nice shop there. Hackett too.
I'll go to Barbour tomorrow too
This is why we asked for a budget.
What did you look at my god
Iirc their coats could be in that range, but I've found cool trousers for under 300
Yeah coats, and a pair of shoes for 900
Makes sense. They didn't have sales I think lol
Ahh are those the cordovan aldens
Could be yeah
I fell in love with a Burberry trench.. but 2k haha
you can get one second hand for like Β£150
You think so?
Im 90% sure it was this one

Burberry Trenchcoat
Menβs vintage double breasted classic trenchcoat. Very good condition.
Its quite similar yeah
Im just not sure about the sizes. The 54 in store was necessary because of my shoulders, but usually I buy size 48..
They've been making the trenches for decades and there are thousands around in circulation. The ones old enough to be 'burberrys of london' in particular are really affordable
Burberrys of London?
Well I really loved the shape and the color of the one I tried in store

I just need the sleeves shortened
IIRC it's an older name for the brand
but yeah the shape and colour haven't changed since forever
