I did find these but it’s women’s
Not sure how the fit is and they aren’t providing more specific sizing
they have a size chart with measurements. there's some trial and error with scaling womenswear but in my experience for tops, aim to fit the bust measurement (your chest) and sleeve if given
i give up lol tried talking to their CS team
they'd look at the message and just not respond
will just aim for the brut sweaters they look quite nice
sometimes that's all you can do 👍
if you're comfortable with secondhand you can probably find vintage sweaters on ebay or etsy (searching for "rollneck" may yield better results)
lol also, would you be able to help with a sizing question real quick? 🤣
Some of these sites, CS is like non existent
if they have a size chart sure
Im like 193lbs and my chest measurement last time I checked…with a suit I fit fine in a 42R? Maybe a bit larger
Just a bit worried since it’s like 20.9cm chest width
Thanks! It’s been a bit of guessing abound buying from my end with sweaters lol
best way to find your measurement is to measure something that fits well and use that as the comparison
those measurements are taken horizontally, so you'd double them to get the intended chest size S = 98 cm around, M = 102 cm around, etc.)
i wouldn't use a suit as a basis for a sweater fit since the suit will require extra room for a shirt and stuff, but as a reference, a 42 suit usually has a 22 in/56 cm pit to pit measurement; you'd may want to drop that down a couple inches for shirts/sweaters depending on how tight a fit you want
that said it's best to find a measurement based off a sweater that fits as intended or to try stuff on in person; you could go to a shop with a tape measure and try on sweaters to find that measurement if need be
I’m also currently wearing a Uniqlo zip up that fits pretty well
Although it does have a bit more space-
Fit is different since it is a full zip up
is that how you would like your sweater to fit
No issues with medium in the Patagonia better sweater either
No issues with fitting in a medium of these either
focus less on the alphabetic size (S/M/L) and more on whatever the actual numeric measurement is
depending on the brand i can comfortably fit xs, s, m or l; the measurement is the most important thing
That’s what I’ve realized lol, everyone have small variances in sizing with clothes
that is the consequence of clothes being mass produced but human bodies not being mass produced
I can also fit in the L of the better sweater too so 😭 idk lmao I’ll take another measurement of my chest when I get back
it's not your fault, just find whatever measurement suits you best
Let thing I want to do is get something and it not fit
right; it'll likely still be there and you won't have to go through the ordeal of returning if wrong
One last one, I can fit in the Ralph Lauren medium but it does feel a bit tight
But if I size up to large I don’t really have an issue
lol all these sites got different looking charts 😭💀
at some point you've got to decide if the tight fit is worth it
sizing charts are very useful but aren't an exact science. while it sucks to say whenever talking about spending money on something you do have to take a chance sometimes with clothes
if you're doing it right it often works, but if not you learn something and move on
I honestly don’t mind, I think in this case I’ll have decent amount of space left to move around in
And I’m kinda guessing these are meant to be a bit more tight fitting sweaters anyways
