Sun shines through DH LOD's with shaders.

What could be the root cause of this? Using Bliss shader. I'm assuming this is happening due to light rays not taking into account LOD's that are facing away from you, for optimization; normally blocks or textures of geometry are not rendered when you cant see them. So this is causing the light to be calculated through the LOD's / Block faces that are invisible/without textures. and the sun shafts just go straight through. So is this something that shader devs can fix?

Hmm are you using the in-dev version on github? If not try using that

Hmm it may not be possible for Xonk to fix then... I will check the github for existing issues first Okay so there aren't any issues on github about this as far as I can see.

Sorry I just realised that the thread is closed @Slooshie Any ideas? Sorry for the ping Miki_P98 helped me out, so to solve the issue you can either use the unstable version of Bliss or enable DH Shadowmap, or old light leak fix or increase vanilla RD Look above
