loaded into save i was fine but my friend got reset
i loaded into my save and i loaded fine but my friends save didn't load and he spawned on the helicopter

Your friend needs to also save to save his progress. for example if he explored the cave A and got all the stuff and he saved and then goes to cave B, did all the stuff but left his save without saving, it will gets reverted to the progress he last did (saved)
