Blazer tightness question
Is it normal for a blazer to be so tight at the waist so that if I raise my arms then relax, the jacket doesn’t come down naturally but remains tense and pulled up?
Most of my jackets don’t do this but this mtm suit supply one does, so I’m not sure if they just cut it too tight or I’ve been wearing wrong sizes.

From the way you describe it it does not sound great. Are you comfortable?
When unbuttoned it’s nice sure, when buttoned it does feel a little tight on the waist
When you raise your arms then bring them down and the blazer goes up, does it get stuck at your belly / chest / etc?
That’s your number one indicator if not fitting right, yeah. Doesn’t feel good is the best metric to go off.

Yes esp if I’m wearing light sweater / cardigan
When I’m wearing a single shirt or tshirt it comes down half of the time so I’m not sure if there’s like a breaking in period as well

Pic will def help but I’m in Holfram’s camp that “not feeling good” is a strong indicator of poor fit
I think a pic should be helpful, but indeed when buttoned does it pull the fabric, or the bottom quarters open revealing the layer underneath? In case it might be too tight.
Def doesn’t fit if you can’t comfortably button it up

Hi everyone, I’ve taken two group of photos. First group is jacket with a plain tshirt, second is tshirt + flannel shirt. For each group I took 3 photos (front, front but after I raise my arms on the sides then I lower my arms again, then side views). What are your opinions on the fit and if the waist looks too tight?
I doesn't look crazy bad but it does look a bit trim in the midsection.
No. It’s way too narrow. Your jacket should never look like this when you’re standing in a relaxed position.
too tight imo; beyond the issue you raise from the side the chest is bowing out some too. one size up might help
my one experience with suitsupply (2013) i had the same problem, the suit was too tight - i got a refund and went to j.crew instead lol
Seems like they still use their 2013 patterns then lol
lol it's weird to me that their made to measure program still has fit issue
