High ping due to bad routing on Riot games server.
I used to have around 14-18 ping on Warsaw and 35-40 on Frankfurt but quite some time ago I've noticed that my ping in riot games increased and I'm having 45 ping warsaw and 65-70 frankfurt.
It didn't bother me much when the problem appeared cause I was mainly playing league of legends and 60-70 ping was fine for this game but now I went back to valorant and this ping bothers me alot.
I did some researches and tested the routing to Frankfurt and it showed me that packets are going from me to poland, then they are visiting England for some reason and only then they arrive to Frankfurt.
I tried to play with VPN and ping dropped a little but due to not willing to buy a premium vpn I got random ping spikes and packet losses.
I've saw a ticket here https://discord.com/channels/679875946597056683/1318544629733261353 where a guy had exact same issue as I have and it got fixed so I'd like to know how do I fix my ping.

I've downloaded and launched 1.1.1.1 and seems like it's doing its job, my ping went down as it used to but there's a random ping spike once every few minutes. Is there any way to fix the issue without having to launch 1.1.1.1 every time before gaming?

I used to play mainly on Frankfurt with 36 ping but had to switch to warsaw because after ping rise it was the only playable ping wise server for me (47 ms) which was 17-18 before.

Might be a routing issue @jacksteller ill check it out we are slowly back from winter break from tomorrow onwards
When did this go bad ?
@Kenji-San I can't tell exact time because it didn't bother me much since at that time I was mainly playing league and when the problem appeared 80 ping for league was still fine but Valorant is a whole another story.
I'd say it's around 4-5 months
alright so, Best do not have presence in Warsaw but their upstream provider ( basically a 3rd party who gives them access to other countries) have, I have reached out to them in order to improve this so we will have to wait and check when they apply our suggested fix
