Bluetooth Connection

Hey everyone, Even though I have my Corne v3 for a while now my nice!view just got here yesterday. I installed it, flashed with the firmware but now I am having trouble pairing it. I did not make any changes from the defalt configs on the typeractive website. How do I go about connecting it to Windows and Mac? How do I put it on discovery mode? On Windows, my bluetooth connections available do not display the corne (haven't tried on mac yet) To clear the connection is BTCLR + BT<number> or on the BT<number> I just need to press BTCLR? Thanks for all the help

It sounds like you're having trouble pairing your Corne. First, make sure the keyboard is on and your device supports BLE 4.2+. The left half is the one that connects to your device. ZMK uses profiles for pairing. To clear a profile, press the BT_CLR key while the desired profile is active. To select a profile, use BT_SEL <profile number>. You can find these keys on our default keymap image on the firmware page of the build guide. To pair, make sure the desired profile is active and clear, then try connecting from your device's Bluetooth menu. For more info, check out our Keyboard Won't Pair guide.

I was able to pair with my phone and MacOS. I just checked and my Bluetooth Adapter on Windows suppports 5.3 which should be fine for Corne Adapter name: RZ616 Bluetooth(R) Adapter

What error are you getting on Windows? Have you been able to pair before to Windows? Are you sure you don't have it already paired to a different profile? Did you remove from Windows before trying to re-pair?

Hey Nick, thanks for the reply. Before I was not even able to see the corne listed on windows but now at least I see it. When I click to pair it spins a while and then shows "Try to pair again" I was using with cable all this time on Windows since I didn't have nice!view until yesterday. From what I understood, the profile that is paired with a device will show either an "X" if the device is not available or "WiFi Waves Icon" if it is paired. For Profiles available it shows a "gear" icon. If the info above is correct then the profiles I am trying are available (tried with 3 different profiles) Before I started the process I removed my previous connection attempt from windows (from Feb this year), wanted to start clean.

Sounds like you're doing everything right. Last thing I'd ask you to try is clearing all your profiles and restarting your windows machine
