PCB won't fit inside the case

Hi, all. I have an issue with the installation of the PCB into the casing. Now, I might have missed something, but it appears to me that the little metal standoffs that get screwed into the casing are a little too high. When I screw the standoffs and try to mount the PCB, it doesn't fit well.
I've followed the tutorial and have first connected the PCB with the 3D printed net where the switches get inserted into (I don't know how I should refer to this part) and have created a single piece with the PCB, the net and the switches. But when I try to insert that into the casing, the standoffs go through the PCB, not through the net (as they should) but then the ports on the PCB do not align with the holes on the casing and the PCB stands crooked because the switch is not aligned and is pulling it to the side. Below I've attached pictures of how the PCB is aligned in the casing. How the usb connector aligns, and the dimensions od the standoffs. Also, I would also like to note that the acrylic covers did not come with their own standoffs so I am not able to mount them. Thanks for the support! The keyboard is awesome even half completed like this.

@danilo can you send send pictures of the standoffs you received? How many did you get? Seems like you might have gotten 10mm ones somehow?

Hi Nick, thanks for the quick response. I'll post a few pictures below. I have however tried some hacking. Context: I've tried to use the standoffs that I thought were for the case as the display cover ones and I've managed to attach the display cover with them. Note that in this picture there is no battery installed, so that might be the reason for it fitting. The only standoffs in the package were these. The ones in the case on the picture and the one that I've measured out

Strange yeah those are the display cover standoffs… so you got 10 display cover standoffs in a bag and that’s it? so weird

Also note, the ones in the case and the one measured are the same Yes, also, I've lost one and still have enough to cover the displays (exact per the tutorial) haha

Do you happen to remember the bags of hardware and what was in each? We’ll send replacements, but I want to try to figure out what happened so we don’t make the same mistake!

Hey, it's really not an issue, I wouldn't want you guys to pay for shipping all the to Serbia just for a few screws You could send me the specs of the standoffs and I can just grab a few from the local hardware store

The standoffs in the MX case are M2x7mm. So M2 screws and 7mm long

Also, for the baggies, there was one baggie with all the standoffs and screws (just one) and the display covers were just the 2 covers

Here you can see the display covers in 1 bag and the screws in the other and there was no additional hardware aside from that

Super strange. Ok thank you! Usually the display cover hardware is in a bag with the display covers and then the case hardware is in a bag with the rubber feet.

It's ok, it happens. The order was around Christmas time so I guess it was some honest mistake. I'll get the standoffs on Monday and complete the build. Thanks for clarifying, I was worried we did something horribly wrong I can just get any generic ones under those specs and it should fit, correct?

Hi @Nicell sorry to have to reopen this issue. There is nowhere to find the standoffs in the right specs. Nobody sells them that small. I tried all our local hardware stores and looked online but no luck. Temu also sells them only in giant packets. Will it be a hassle to send the replacements? Or can I figure out a different solution if you have something in mind

Any chance you’re in need of anything else from our store (if not that’s totally ok, but figured I’d ask)

Let me check I'll take the white display cover with the cutout so I can swap between them. And do you maybe have any fancy keycaps with some nice art on them? And a friend would also like to pick up 6 cases of jwick tactiles He tried them and now wants them too

The fanciest caps we have are the hypersonic and MBK ergo sets Just sent you a message about the order via DM. But let me know if you want to add anything else to the order first
