Help Needed: Issue with Satisfactory Dedicated Server and Mods (DynamicInventorySlot)
Hi everyone,
I'm having trouble setting up mods on my Windows Dedicated Server for Satisfactory. I'm using the Satisfactory Dedicated Server tool alongside FICSIT Mods. During the installation, I encountered the following error:
So, because installing Infinity Dynamic Inventory Slot (DynamicInventorySlot) "2.0.5" and Infinity Dynamic Inventory Slot (DynamicInventorySlot) "2.0.5" is forbidden, version solving failed.
I've attached debug files to help diagnose the issue. I would greatly appreciate your help in resolving this problem or identifying whether this is a bug that needs to be fixed.
Thank you in advance!

Thank you for your response!
Does this mean that the mod "Infinity Dynamic Inventory Slot" (DynamicInventorySlot) cannot be used on a dedicated server at all, or is there a workaround to make it compatible?
If it’s completely incompatible, are there any similar mods that you would recommend for expanding inventory slots on a dedicated server?
Thanks again for the clarification!
It can't, but inventory slots are stored in your save file so you can modify them in a safe editor like SCIM, or there may be compatible similar mods on ficsit.app - if you scroll down you can see if a server build is present.
@AndreAquila is it possible this mod would be fine on dedicated servers with the RequiredOnRemote flag set to false?
no, inventory operations must be done server side
Thank you again for the insights!
Since the mod works without issues in multiplayer, would it be possible to make it compatible with dedicated servers as well? I understand that inventory operations must be handled server-side, but is there a way to adapt the mod so that it meets the requirements for dedicated server functionality?
It would be amazing to have this feature available for server setups too. Let me know if this might be feasible or if there are any steps I could assist with to make it happen.
Thanks in advance!
