Anybody have a link to a Taj's graphical overhaul video? I'm interested to see a comparison video.
I just got an i9 to compliment my 4070 Ti, and I'd loved to see if I can turn up the beauty of Satisfactory while maintaining performance.

I don't have a link to the comparison video, and the impression I got was that Taj's may do thinks like tweak the models - more than what I'm going to suggest. In any case, there are some config settings you put in engine.ini that really bump up the graphics. I'm running it on a 4080 with a Ryzen 9 5950 and these settings made a dramatic improvement in the look of the game, but had no impact on performance. The settings can be found here:

I haven't had the guts to load Taj's because it says experimental there be dragons on it. The tweaks above might get you a large portion of the benefits and can be reversed, but I've experienced no reliability issues using them. Nevertheless, I'll wait to see the difference illustrated and want to see the results like OP.
To help quell any fears of running it, my system specs be
Geforce GTX 1650, Intel Core i5-6400 CPU @ 2.70GHz 31.95 GB Ram
and I can run it on medium graphics semi alright.
I do experience some FPS drop when playing for a long period of time, but a save, exit and restart fix's it. That's me though and my potato system. But the mod does work well and gives me more fps with lumen running then I would without the mod still using lumen.
Hi, thank you for the interest in the mod. TajsGraph (codename) or Taj's Graphical Overhaul tries to improve graphical quality, without too much impact on frames (and if the frames is neccesery, the option usually is customizable).
For example, you can easily disable VSM (Virtual Shadow Mapping) that is pretty heavy on GPU (it's not a setting in non-dev version of the game)
On top of that, Taj's Graphical Overhaul tries to be as customizable as it can be via a really extended settings page (dedicated UI coming maybeTM?)
There's no video, but I did see someone post on r/satisfactory some photos, so I'm linking them below:

Honestly I can only say "see it for yourself" to get the full experience.

To adress the fear of using it - I have removed the "experimental" text (Dragons also flew away... but there are places you can still find them;p)
As I said, mod is now rebranded to "work in progress" instead of experimental, since there haven't been that many issues happening and/or reported.
Also, if you dislike the results or the mod overall, you can safely disable/uninstall it via SMM (No impact on save-games etc.)
