The button placement for my suit jacket is wrong right?
So my belly button is where the belt buckle is and I was just wondering if the button placement on my suit jacket is correct it not...

would it be possible to get a full-body shot, similar to this-
the """traditional""" rule called for the belt to be between the two buttons (this is not an exact rule), but i think in this case the lapel might be a little short relative to the length of the jacket, causing the buttons to be similarly high
Thank you so much for your time 😊 hope this picture helps.
Here's another picture for reference. This time I lower the pants so that it sit on my hip plus changing to a different color of both loafer and belt.
Hope this helps 😊
Last one with everything buttoned up and belt buckle below the belly, under the fupa.
you never button the bottom button on a suit jacket
so undo that and take a picture with your arm hanging by your side, not in your pocket
and ideally straight on, not at a slight angle
I think this suit is too small and too short by quite a bit
Thank you so much for your input gentlemen 😊 here's the pose per your suggestion. The same tailor made all my suit so the fitting is essentially the same regardless of color.
Hope it helps
Thank you 😊
I feel like I’m tripping bc the suit checks many many individual boxes but it looks horribly proportioned to my eyes.
The sleeves are way too long regardless. The button stance is quite high as well I think.
The pants also don’t fit you or need to just be adjusted for where they sit bc they’re draping poorly but it’s hard to tell without proper pics
Oh WAIT
Your navel is at the belt buckle in the original pics?? The button stance is miles off
yes, the buttoning point is way to high imo, and the jacket is a little short and the sleves are too long
the jacket body might be the right length - the button stance being as high as it is makes it appear visually longer. side shot would help for sure
i think the pants might be a factor as well, like beans said - either too short or too low of a rise, given the gap between it and the bottom of the waist
