What shader is this on?
no shaders
the thing is iris causes the sun to look like that when shaders are disabled
i removed iris and it looked normal

Does this happen without distant horizons?
I don't have distant horizons
That's 32 render distance
It is probably because it is such a low quality image then, (the reason I though you had it was because your flowers look like they cover an entire block)
I have the same issue and it is because of Iris, when I remove Iris from my mods the sun is fully opaque
