I need some trunks recommendations
While modal trunks feel soft, they don't last.. Which fabric should i get? Cotton, supima cotton, bamboo cotton, microfiber? Which one would be suitable for working out?

personally I just get regular cotton ones.
I wear shorts with an internal liner for working out.
It depends on what kind of working out. For running or playing sports I wear like Nike dri fit compression shorts. For lifting I just wear cotton trunks.
I buy trunks from pact and they seem fine.
How long do they last?

Two years give or take, but I commute by cycling so there is extra strain on the crotch area
Supima should last longer right?
Or is it bamboo?

pick what you like most and can afford, not really worth it to agonize over lifting shorts tbh. IME expensive performance shorts aren't worth it for lifting, and regular cotton is more than sufficient.
I'm going with the pima and hoping that it won't get holes....
