Enabling Shaders With DH+Iris: "java.lang.IllegalStateException: Only indirect supported with Iris"

Every time I try to toggle on shaders, I get an error message and DH disables itself. I read a previous thread with this same issue, but it was believed to be a mac only issue - i am using windows 10 and having the same problem. Playing 1.21.4 with nightly build of DH and latest iris/sodium versions (1.8.4 and 0.6.3 respectively). Issue happens with complementary and BSL shaders. Notably this was not an issue a few days ago, I think it only started happening with the latest nightly build, since at one point it DH + iris shaders were working for me on 1.21.4. I usually play with a few mods, but for testing I disabled everything except for dh, iris, and their dependencies.
